Set in a lush garden, it is furnished with wicker chairs and cots, and colourful cloth canopies keep you protected from the sun. It serves home-style Indian, Lebanese, seafood, and grill specialities. The food might take time to arrive, but it will be worth the wait. They also have an attached boutique that sells their own brand of clothing which is a fusion of contemporary style with ethnic dying and printing techniques.It is an ideal place to spend meal times with friends and family.

Sanman Hotel: Located on Israel Lane, it is an unpretentious eatery serving fresh and authentic Maharashtrian coastal food. Their speciality is the fish thali, with crabs, lobsters and other exotic items on the menu. There are options for vegetarians as well, but it is clearly a place for seafood lovers. Do try the sol kadhi to cool you down in the heat. The look and feel of the restaurant is basic, but then you come here to only eat.

Kiki’s Cafe and Deli: This cafe serves delicious Indian, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine and is housed in family home that has been converted into a home-stay called Ccaza Ccomodore. It is conveniently located close to the Mandwa beach. It is a charming fishing village filled with groves of coconut palms and mango orchards. It is run by champion yachtsman and Arjuna Award Winner, Nitin Mongia. The prices are comparatively higher, but the modern ambience and quality food justifies it adequately. It is the perfect place to have a romantic candle-lit dinner.

Dattaraj: If you are vegetarian and are looking for value for your money, head towards Alibaug Beach where this restaurant is located. It is a no-frills eatery serving pure vegetarian Indian food. Their thali comes highly recommended.

Radisson Blu Resort: The resort has two restaurants – you can opt for an Indian fine dining experience at Kokum & Spice, or go for buffets at Aparanta featuring Indian and Continental cuisine. This beautiful property is set along the banks of Veshvi Lake and is one of the few luxury options in the region. Take in a spa treatment before your meal, then walk around the manicured lawns and take in the pleasant surroundings.
