If you register with ByeByeCity, you don't need to type your details every time you make a booking. Also, you can keep track of all your reservations in case you need to change dates or cancel your booking.
When you log in to ByeByeCity using your Facebook account, you will be able to see your friends'activity on ByeByeCity-what they have liked, added to their wish lists, and booked. We believe knowing what your friends have chosen makes it easy for you to take the decision.
You do not need to register just to explore the site. But when you want to book an experience, we would want you to register with us. We need the information to send you the booking voucherand details about the activity.
Be genuine. Please share your correct details. We encourage you to add a personal profile photo and basic information. We also encourage you to connect your account with your Facebook account, as that increases your visibility and adds to the genuineness.
There are two ways to search ByeByeCity and discover amazing experiences.

For the most relevant results, always begin your search by selecting the Product, Place and Interest. Then, narrow your search using the Sort filters available.
These words will help you increase your search capabilities:
- Active: Any experience that requires a physical participation from the guest, such as heritage walks, cycling tour, bird watching, and the like.
- Chill: Any experience where the guests just have to relax or there is near-zero physical effort required. These activities are designed to help you unwind and chill out.
- Thrill: Any experience wherein there is some adrenalin flow; the degrees may vary from soft to extreme adventure.
- Learn: Any experience where the guest learns a new skill.
- Stay: Any experience that provides accommodation to the guest.
Sort function prioritizes the search results based on your preference. It helps you to rearrange the search results based on Distance, Price, Friends Pick, Recommendations,and so on.
These are 3 different viewing preferences in the top left-hand side corner, under the logo. Photo view is the default view; List view will display search results giving more emphasis on content than visual; and Map view will display the search results on a Google Map so that you can choose the product based on the location.
ByeByeCity is a go-to place for unique experiences but sometimes it may happen that we haven't found ones that interests you. It is also likely that the experience provider hasn't found us yet. In that case, we would love if you could drop in a mail with name of the experience and location at firstname.lastname@example.org. It would be great if you also have contact details of the experience provider. Write to us so that we can get what you are looking for.
You'll see a Calendar on every experience information page; it is on the right-hand side of the photograph.
- Select the date when you would like to consume the experience.
- In case the experience is a stay, please also select the Check-Out date.
- Type the number of people that would be taking the experience. Please provide details of children separately, and also specify their age.
- Some experiences have a set of options you can choose from. In those special cases, there will be no Calendar function. Instead, you will see a page that lists all the choices available for the particular experience. All these options will show an exact price quote for the day. Select the option you want by clicking the Add to Cart button.
- In the Cart,you'll see an exact price quote for the experience you have selected, and quotes for any additional experiences you may have selected.
- If you are happy with the quote, you can proceed to Checkout.
- You will be then directed to the Payment Gateway, where you will make the payment.
- You will receive an "Order Summary" with a link to the voucher for your product.
- You simply take this voucher to present to the travel service provider prior to the commencement of your travel service.
After you've successfully booked the experience, you'll receive an e-mail and SMS with booking confirmation. After some time, you'll receive a voucher on your mail ID. Please take a printout of the voucher, as it is mandatory to carry the voucher along with a valid ID proof while taking the experience.
This depends on the particular activity that you are booking. Most of the experiences are confirmed as soon as you submit your booking.
Some activities on ByeByeCity might require a re-confirmation from the Merchant. These activities will be confirmed within 72 hours. Please be aware that some Merchants do not have office hours on the weekend, so weekend bookings may take slightly longer to receive a confirmation.

ByeByeCity,being a fully online travel company,can accept only online bookings. At present, we accept only online payments via debit or credit cards. For this, we use a completely secure and automated booking system becausewe consider your trust and safety as our biggest priority. In addition to being highly secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations, our payment system is designed to provide you the best possible experience when you make any transaction on ByeByeCity.
You can book an experience on ByeByeCity and gift it to others. For this, you will have to first book the experience under your account and then gift the experience to your friend or a family member.
Another option that you could use is to buy your friend eGift Vouchers from ByeByeCity.
I completed my booking and money got deducted from my account, but I have not received any confirmation mail or booking ID from your side. What should I do?
This can happen very rarely when the payment mode is net banking.Most often, this happens due to a slow Internet connection. Let's see what happens when you choose net banking as the payment option: After you select the bank and click the Pay button, ByeByeCity redirects you to the bank's website to make the payment. When the payment process is completed,you are redirected back to the ByeByeCity website so that yourbooking is completed after verification of the payment. On completion of this, you will see a booking confirmation page and get a booking voucher by e-mail.
Sometimes, things can go wrong in this chain of processes. For ByeByeCity to confirm a booking, you need to redirected back to our website from the bank's website because this confirms that the payment has been successful. However, it is likely that this may not happen due to Internet connection problems. In such cases, our system cannot verify whether the payment was made, and hence, you will not get the booking confirmation even though your account has been debited. But there is no need for you to worry. Please drop in a mail to email@example.com or call us on +91 9930 234555 and let us know about the issue. Do remember to include the bank's name, the amount deducted, eGift Voucher used (if any), as well as the mode of transaction. We will refund you the entire amount, without deducting any cancellation charges, within 3-4 business days.
When you submit a booking, you'll get an e-mail with a receipt confirming your submission and payment. Once your booking is confirmed, you'll get another e-mail with your booking voucher. Please retain these e-mails as records of your booking. Your voucher is particularly important as it has all the details of the experience, booking dates, as well the contact information of the experience provider. You'll also need to carry a printed copy of your voucher. Feel free to contact us at any time for information about your booking.
Whenever you contact ByeByeCityregarding your booking, you'll need to provide us the booking ID so that we can find the details of your booking. Booking ID can be found in both the e-mail receipt you receive when you submit a booking and in the confirmation e-mail and SMS you receive when the booking has been confirmed.
ByeByeCity uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol for our payment process. SSL,supported by all popular browsers, encrypts your personal information such as passwords, address, and telephone number. Thus, your credit card details areknown only to you and the credit card company. SSL encryption ensures that transactions on the Internet are as secure as transactions over telephone.
If you are getting a persistent error when trying to book using your credit card, please check whether your card has expired, or you have exceeded the monthly spending limit on the card. If the error persists, we recommend you to use a different credit card or net banking to complete the booking. Please contact our customer service for further assistance.
Currently, ByeByeCity accepts only online payments via debit or credit cards. But we shall soon be launching the cash-on-delivery (COD) facility in select locations. Please share your e-mail ID with us so that we can inform you as soon as we start the facility.
All pricing details are included on the listing at the time of booking. Since you have paid the entire amount mentioned on our website, you do not have to pay anything extra. However, if you avail of services over and above what is mentioned in your booking voucher, you will have to pay the required amount directly to the host. But please note that ByeByeCity will not be responsible for services and transactions beyond what is mentioned in the voucher.
Please sign in to your ByeByeCity account. Go to Orders, and for the relevant Experience click on the Cancel Order to cancel your booking. You can also call our customer support on +91 9930 234555 for cancellations. Only those cancellation requests that are made either online or on the phone to our customer support team shall be accepted. Do note that ByeByeCity shall not be liable to accept any cancellation requests made directly to the experience owner or through any other medium, including but not limited to, SMS or e-mail.
It is difficult to make changes to your booking once it is completed. However, we will try to accommodate your requests as much as possible. If you need to make changes to a booking, please contact our customer support on +91 9930 234555.
Cancellation charges vary depending on the experience provider, time of year (season time and off-season time), and time of cancellation. To know the cancellation charges for an experience, please check the experience's booking policy mentioned on the page while making the booking.
If you donot check in to the hotel or take the experience, it will be considered as a 'no-show' and you'll be charged the entire amount. You will not be entitled to a refund in such cases.
It depends on the experience provider. Please go through the booking policy mentioned on the experience page while making the booking.
We take at least 7-10 working days to process refunds for cancelled bookings. Please note that your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.
We will credit refund amount back to the same account you used for making the booking. For example, if you have used net banking, we will credit the money (minus cancellation charges and service charges, if any) to your bank account. If you have used your credit card, we will initiate a reversal of charges (after deducting appropriate cancellation charges).
You can check the status of your refund on our website. For this, sign in to your ByeByeCity account. Go to My Account, and click Order. The Status column will inform you the refund status.
It's more than 10 days since I cancelled my booking. I still haven't received my refund. What do I do?

Yes. You can correct spelling errors in the name of the lead person and corrections in ages of children. Please send a mail to email@example.com and we will make the necessary corrections and issue a fresh booking voucher. However, if the change of age results in increased costs, you will need to pay the difference.
If you wish to increase the number people in your already completed booking, you can makeanother booking of the same experience for the additional people, subject to availability.
If you wish to reduce the number of people in your already completed booking, contact our customer care by e-mail or phone with your booking ID. Note that cancellation charges may apply.

Last month when I checked an experience on ByeByeCity, the rate was different. But this month when I checked the same experience, the rate has changed. Why is that so?
ByeByeCity is a marketplace, wherein the experience owner decides the price of the experiences. The price charged depends on many factors such as time of the year, availability, seasonality, and business cycle.
On some months, the rates for a particular day are high and on some months the rates are low for that same experience. Why is that so?
Special rates shall apply for peak seasons and during festivals. Seasonality, business cycle, and availability also may affect the rate/price of the experience.
Some activities can happen only if there is a minimum number of participants, which will specified on the experience page. Ifthis minimum number has not been reached before the event, the activity will not happen. In such cases, we will refund you the amount as per our refunds policy.
Yes. You can make bookings as a group. When you book for others, you will become the 'lead' person for that booking. At present, you will have to make the payment on behalf of others in the group. Unless explicitly mentioned on the experience page, you can definitely bring your children along. However, there are several activities for which there would be age restriction and there are several experiences where you may have to pay extra charges depending on the age of your child.

At present, we do not request for a liability waiver. Booking experiences on ByeByeCity should be done at your own discretion and risk, as we cannot take responsibility for what happens at any given experience. When you provide your telephone/mobile number, you are assuring us that you are a real and responsible person. Moreover, you're likely to have a better experience at ByeByeCity. Only the organizer of the experience you've booked can see your telephone number. Also, it's always good to be reachable in case of unforeseen circumstances. We will be able to inform you of any changes to your booking. We will not use your phone number in any other way than to send you confirmation messages or to contact you if and when required. ByeByeCity is an interest-based site, so if you like a certain person based on his reviews and interests in certain activities, you can choose to receive alerts when he/she posts reviews on our site. The ByeByeCity review system has been designed in a way that it rewards people who write frequently and whose reviews are rated well by others. Visit www.byebyecity.com and browse through our entire range of experiences. When you've found what you want, click Book and follow the standard booking process. Enter your eGift Certificate code on the Payment Details page. If the value of the items you book is greater than your eGift Certificate, you can pay the balance by credit card/debit card/Internet banking. If the value is less than your eGift Certificate, the balance will remain in your account. You can use it book another experience later. Note that your eGift Certificate, including any unused balance, is valid only for a year from the date of purchase.
ByeByeCity is not responsible for stolen or lost eGift Certificates. Unfortunately,we will not be able to replace them under any circumstances.
Once purchased, an eGift Certificate cannot be cancelled. So you will not get a refund for an eGift Certificate.
No. You cannot redeem an eGift Certificate from ByeByeCity for cash.
eGift Certificates from ByeByeCityare valid for one year from the date of original purchase. The certificates remain valid until the entire value has been utilized or until the expiry date.
Yes. If you redeem an eGift Certificate to book an experience of higher value, you can pay the balance using a credit card or through net banking.
