The quirky lamps made out of old bottles light the pathway to the farm and set the mood for an all round rustic haven. From cattle ridden fields, lush green plantations, a fishing pond to an assembly of animals- right from horses and ponies to turkeys and tortoises this farm lets you interact with the arrays of countryside without compromising on comforts. Go on a horse ride or bump along in a bullock cart; whether it's simple bird watching or the intricate art of fishing, the farm offers a versatile collection to enjoy. Laze around in the verandah of one of the cottages painted with Warli designs, or enjoy the view of a rivulet in a remote machaan. What to do

Enjoy the simple comforts of a country home in the midst of stunning locale. Experience the joys of waking up with the cackle of geese and spending the day walking in the fields, swinging in the gardens, kite flying, rowing, fishing, feeding the fowl and cattle, riding a bullock cart, star gazing or just watching time go by with nature. Visit the mini museum developed by the owners of the farm, with their eclectic collection of historical artifacts. Activities such as ATV Ride, and Zip Line add that much more flavor to your stay. Enjoy the activities available for free like rowing, fishing, cycling & bullock cart rides. But make sure you book your time-slot on arrival. The stories that come with staying at the farms are completely priceless. 

Near by Attractions

Just 10 km from the farm is the famed Ballaleshwar Ganapati Temple, one of the famous eight Ashtavinayak temples of Maharashtra. If you want to soak in some natural minerals, then 7km away are natural hot springs. Around 30 km away, passing through country roads and forests is an ancient temple frequented by the local tribes who believe Jatayu breathed his last there.

Made with bricks covered with mud and clay, Jal is beautifully painted by a Warli artist from the artisan’s commune in Wada. Take advantage of a 200 square feet porch fitted with khaats, hammocks, swings where you can sit and laze the day. The spacious front room is fitted with sitting and dining furniture and the 130 square feet bedroom has double bed covered with a mosquito net. The bathroom has a hot water shower and western commode. Towels and toiletries are provided. You also have an option of using the air conditioning at extra cost. The room has a fridge and a tea/coffee maker. The room is ideally meant for one couple. However it has a loft bed that can accommodate 5 people. Optionally 2 khaats can be added in the living room. Its maximum capacity is 9 people.AC is available at Rs.2000 per night

A stone house fashioned like a hunting lodge, Prithvi has a fire place to keep one warm on chilly winter nights. The porch is fitted with khaats, hammocks and swings and has all the other comforts you could expect in a modern resort. The room is ideally meant for one couple. However it has a loft bed that can accommodate 4 people. Optionally 2 Khaats can be added in the living room. Its maximum capacity is 8 people. Prithivi has an option of using the air conditioning at extra cost of at Rs.2000 per night. The room has a fridge and a tea/coffee maker.

Akash
The most unique of all, this house is built with wood and raised on stilts. The compact room is surrounded by a porch and a balcony on all sides. It has a unique balcony porch which has the best view of the countryside. A large bunk bed fashioned out of the same wood that the house is built from is comfortable and fun for younger guests. The bathroom has a hot water shower and western commode. Towels and toiletries are provided. Akaash is ideally meant for one couple and has a fridge and a tea/coffee maker.

Prakruti
In character with the rest of the lodging at the farm, the dormitory has been named Prakriti. Having a thatched roof and walls made out of bamboo and cane, the dormitory is yet another marvel of the farm. Equipped with fans and attached bathrooms, the dormitory occupies eight charpai styled beds with soft mattresses and linen. The huge sofa set in the middle sets in the casual tone. The dormitory is located next to a small garden and even has a hammock hanging just outside it making it a great place to hang out at with buddies.

Adequate electricity back-up is provided, however, there can be electricity failures; since it is a remote area it may take some time to rectify. The management will not provide any refunds in case of electric disruptions. The farm is safe and pleasant even without electricity.

Directions

Take the route from the Khalapur toll road and after the exit, take a Right-turn and cross the bridge to get on the other side of the expressway. After the bridge, take the middle road to Pali. After 25 km, you will reach an HP Petrol Pump on the right side. Take the right turn immediately after the pump. After 4 km take left from the intersection at a poultry farm. The resort is near the famous land-mark Sri Rameshwar Mahadeo Temple.

Getting There

Bus : Take the bus to Khopoli and then an auto to get to the resort. Or you can reach Lonavala then take local transport

Train : The easiest and most connected station to reach is Lonavala. From here you can take local transport to the resort

Air : Mumbai is the closest airport
